Inspired Home Interiors is a proud supporter of Canadian companies but also shops the world to bring you the best contemporary furniture and accessories. Mid century modern furniture is timeless and we specialize in just that.
With this recent snowfall and cold weather snap, it CERTAINLY is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
I hope everyone is enjoying the winter weather and taking care of what likely is the beginning of a very busy season for us all. I wanted to write about a couple of things that are going on here at our very warm and cozy Studio in Edmonton’s own Design District!
First off… I have gotten some amazing feedback from our clients about our website. It is continually changing to suit your needs. PLEASE… keep sending me feedback because I do honestly take it all under consideration and institute as many of your ideas as I can. As part of our appreciation for you spending your time to help us out, when you send me a note I will enter your name to win a $100 Gift Certificate from Inspired Home Interiors.
Secondly… We are changing a few things about how we reward our very loyal client base. Please sign up for our newsletter to receive the information from us as we launch our new client appreciation plan. I suspect that over the next few months you’re going to be very happy with what you see and hear is going on at Inspired!
Finally… stay tuned to our new advertising package. We’ll continue working with the folks we have for the last 11 years, but you’re going to see Inspired showing up at some unlikely places. Kind of like a “Where’s Waldo” situation, when you can name where you have seen our advertisements and articles, we plan to reward you!
Thank you as always for reading and enjoy the day! Stay warm, stay safe and as always…
I just received a note from Jamie at The House Company here in Edmonton who is working with Beljan Developments on Sylvancroft. (Check out Sylvancroftoriginals.com)
On October 29th and 30th, they will be having an official open house and project launch. If you can’t make it down then, make it down and see a long storied property continue to have a prominant place in Edmonton’s history!
Gorgeous location RIGHT in the heart of the City. Unique opportunities for Edmonton’s original attitude. I look forward to seeing you there!
Fall always brings change… change to the weather.. change to the trees and floweres… and here at Inspired, change is underway! I’m very proud to announce that a new team member has joined us here at the Studio. She is a Certified Interior Decorator who also has her degree in Education. She joins us from several other ventures in interior design as well as a brief stint with our friends over at Cottswood. Please feel free to come by the Studio and say hello.. I want all of our new associates to see how amazing our clients are!
The Knoll sale has ended and it was a smashing success! Inspired Home Interiors is VERY proud to be an exclusvie dealer for their amazing product line. If you’re unfamiliar with Knoll, check them out by going to our “Products” page and clicking on their link. Beautiful products!
We have a tonne of new things in the Studio and they’re honestly selling fast so I suspect we’ll be ordering MORE of these new things! One thing to remember is that if you are thinking of purchasing items to have them before Christmas, time is running short so come in, check us out and BE Inspired!
Check out this message that I just received from our amazing client, Ms. Mia Norrie..
“I have been a customer of Inspired Home Interiors for many years, in fact ever since their very first storefront location on 124 street. Through multiple homes and renovation projects Alana and her team have always been an incredible resource for me. With their incredible design savvy, honest advice always gently delivered and the broad range of unique and exciting products available at every price point, they have been instrumental in my being able to achieve my vision. The store is always a pleasure to shop and spend time in, however it barely scratches the surface of what they can bring to your space, be it residential or commercial. I have referred everyone I know to Inspired and will continue to do so without reservation due to their consummate professionalism and terrific service.”
We truly enjoy hearing from you and would love to have your testimonial posted on our website. If you have a bad experience, then we’d also like to hear about that as well.
Feel free to send me a note any time with your feedback!
Here at Inspired Home Interiors not only do we have gorgeous furniture and accessories, but we can also help you to design and plan your space. Both Karley & Alana have had extensive training, experience and even more importantly, amazing success with their clients. Over the next few weeks you’re going to see a slight change in our Studio; more space dedicated to helping you with your interior design needs and a greater focus on the customer experience when you’re shopping.
OK so.. 2 great designers, amazing selection and well… me. What else could a person ask for? ;)
How does great music sound? A glass of San Pellegrino? A nice Latte? What about a space for your kids to play while you chat with us about your furniture and design needs? What else would you like to see here at Inspired?
Finally… one of our clients has been working with the folks at www.northouse.ca Check them out… great little company in our great big City and the Railhead. Take the time to take a gander and let me know what you think!
One of the things that I love about Edmonton is the number of the hidden architectural gems we have scattered throughout the City. Whether it’s been designed by an undiscovered local architect, a world famous one or even one of the designers with the City itself you can literally spend a day driving through the gorgeous Capital Region spotting them here and there. I have several places that I enjoy and wish that more people realized the value that they bring to our streetscapes.
Many of you know my favourite is likely the Peter Hemingway Swimming Pool. Not only is the building itself striking, the way it lies in its surrounding landscape is quite honestly inspiring. Also.. right along Stony Plain Road there is an EPCOR substation.. floor to ceiling glass walls with a flat roof. I only wish EPCOR would remove the window decals and once again reveal the inner workings through the expanse of glass!
What are your favourites? What do you think is an undiscovered gem? Send us your thoughts and a photo as well & I’d love to post them here!
Another note worth mentioning… although our City makes some silly mistakes by allowing great, beautiful structures to succumb to the wrecking ball, we are getting better. More thought is being put into building design to ensure that not only is a building functional, but that it performs well with its surroundings throughout the year.
Off my soapbox now ;)
Have a great day Edmonton and thanks for checking us out!
As soon as I announced the GUS* 20% Off sale I literally had 3 orders come in for Jane Bi-Sectionals, Spencer Sectionals & a Jane Loft Bi-Sectional. Our clients love GUS*! Following that, 15% Off of Kartell’s sexy line I decided to put the GRomano Floor Model Clearance sale on – 20% off of all GRomano goods here in the Studio. Come in and check out what we’ve got going on folks!
Also… The weekend was incredible here in Edmonton, in particular at this very cool furniture and design Studio (that’d be us). We reorganized the design area, cleaned it up & went on a major ‘back room’ hunt for anything we could find that we had ones or twos of and none on the floor. Always something new! ;)
Today.. perfect day. Great sales, awesome traffic and great music to enjoy the entire time!
Thanks for following us folks, check us out on Twitter and give me some feedback on the website. Come in, chat, BE Inspired!
