We now have been in our new location for 6 months and we are loving it. Now that spring is here we have changed over the showroom. New sofas, sectionals and accessories fill up our space with style and colour. Come by and have a look, then stroll the other shops here at the Shops at Boudreau and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
We are very excited to have acquired a 1950's era home designed by architect Peter Hemingway! We will be posting the renovation process with photos as we go through our "respectful" renovation on this beautiful home. Stay tuned for more!

I know... I know... we're not an architectural firm or organization.. but that won't stop me from talking about my love of architecture! ;) There's a great organization called Apartment Therapy that often promotes very cool architecture and design... spaces ranging from tiny little lofts to amazing, intricate structures. Our clients are always sending us and showing us things they love. This link was sent to us by one of our clients who shares a passion for architecture and design and so I thought I would share it with you here! Check out this modern Flatiron building that the folks at Apartment Therapy have featured! http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/la/style/making-a-point-eastern-design-offices-on-the-corner-162112 http://www.eastern.e-arc.jp/p17_On_the_CornerE.html Edmonton has so many beautiful structures both old and new! What is your favourite? What structure that you have seen on your travels would you like to share?! Let me know and I'd love to feature it here! have a great blustery weekend and if you're out and about... come in, see the tonnes of new items we have in our Studio and as always.. BE Inspired! Chris
If you're not familiar with Edmonton's Sylvancroft Estate, familiarize yourself. Here's an excellent comment regarding the latest from Paula Simons at the Edmonton Journal http://bit.ly/pPfHc7 The history behind this cool property is very interesting but what is even more interesting is it's future. I've had the pleasure now of meeting Jamie from the House Company and it appears as though what they and the developer are about to do will be unique to Edmonton. The property will be converted into loft style spaces with a greater allowance for light to filter through. The land surrounding the historic home will be developed into contemporary and unique homes. The setting is going to be beautiful. I'd invite you to check it out at their sales centre and if you have the chance, chat with Jamie about the project. It truly is, Inspired! Chris
